 Raise the roof represent!

I know, I know, I'm an outfit-almost-repeater. Here I go again with the denim button down under the long sleeve shirt... except this time it's under a plain, slouchy shirt and NOT  a printed one. 

The hint of denim made the otherwise very boring and dark outfit a bit more interesting .

I hate wearing all dark colors, even though I'm going to be a bit of a hypocrite on New Years. 

Bu not to worry- I'll sneak some color in there..

When you see the outfit I previewed it will already be 2012, so from The Duds today-

Is it just me, or does it look like Ruth_booth is taking a douchey picture of her reflection?

And I just happened to be standing there posed with my clothing draped just so?

Speaking of posing, modeling for pictures has been getting more fun,

 I've even started developing my own trademark poses!

There's the obvious yawn, stretch, and total lack of eye contact with the camera-

 but you can only get away with the same three poses for so long.

So without further ado, I present to you:

the sneeze on the camera face,

 and my personal favorite, the collar pop- because popped collars are swarthy.

 Chicks dig swarthy.

Luckily for me, I have friends that know I like to drag out my birthday and therefore gave me my last present 20 days after I became a year older!

I want to get a second one so I can wear one on each arm and run around like I'm Wonderwoman- no lie. 

... I wasn't going to point this out, but it is actually driving me crazy- in the second picture my hands are NOT the same color. It's maddening!

Snow and Sunshine

The first batch of pictures was taken when we visited the gorgeous old city of Quebec at night. Even though we were walking around in the snow, the narrow cobblestone streets and all the Christmas lights and decorations made the city feel cozy and indeed, antique. The second batch of pictures was taken on a hike the next day somewhere up in the snowy hills. We took a cable car up to the top of the mountain and the views were breathtaking. Trips like these really make me appreciate nature and make me think about what else the world has to offer out there. My friend also snapped a pic of some random person with the sickest ombre I've seen. Can't wait to go back someday! I'd love to see what Quebec is like during the summer...

UGLY SWEATER HOLIDAY PARTY
